Ο ΠΑ.Σ.Α.Π. έλαβε από τον κ. Walter Palmer, Γ.Γ. της Ευρωπαϊκής Ομοσπονδίας Αμειβόμενων Αθλητών ( EUAthletes ), της οποίας ο Σύνδεσμός μας είναι μέλος, την εξής επιστολή συμπαράστασης, την οποία απευθύνει προς τον Πρόεδρο της Ε.Σ.Α.Π.

Dear Mr.Tarnatoros

The European Elite Athletes Association has been informed by our member PASAP of a complaint being filed against Mr. Efstathios Ntonas at the Greek Court of Arbitration for Sport due to comments he posted on a volleyball website.

We call on the Greek Volleyball Federation and the Hellenic Volleyball League to drop this complaint and to return to good faith negotiations with PASAP to address the many more serious problems facing Greek volleyball. This is not a time to indulge in personal attacks but for stakeholders to pull together in the name of the common values of sport.

The statements by Mr. Ntonas are protected under the European Charter of Fundamental Rights and the 35 member player associations of the European Elite Athletes Association will do all we can to support Mr. Ntonas and PASAP in this case.

We call on you and all stakeholders to rise above pettiness and to work together to address the many more serious problems that, specifically, Greek volleyball and, more broadly, European sport faces during these times of crisis.
